About Ellis
I started tutoring a year ago when I aided a GCSE student, who was predicted a C in Art, in obtaining an A. Furthermore, last year, a friend of mine with no qualifications or experience in arts or fashion, asked me for support in applying for Central Saint Martins, and after brainstorming and coming up with projects and steps he needed to take within the limited time frame, he got an unconditional offer. As for my qualifications, I completed my Art and design GCSE within one year, received full marks, and then proceeded to complete a Fine art A level a year early, for which I also obtained the highest grade. During this time, I lived in Italy and therefore gained intensive knowledge in classical art as well as Art History, and was awarded a Vivo Vejo first prize for a painting I did. I then moved to The UK and completed a two year A level course obtaining A* in Fine Art, Theatre studies, my EPQ in animation, and an A in English literature. I am experienced in a wide range of different methods including; sculpture, photography, charcoal, collage, printing, life drawing, animation, painting, and illustration.

I give private lessons to students from primary school up to sixth form. For younger students, I focus on making sure that there is as much experimentation as possible with different materials and styles. In addition, we will also look at different artists and try to recreate pieces whilst looking into symbolism and historical significance. For older students, my main focus will be on creating personal projects and building a portfolio. This will involve; brainstorming themes that the student is particularly interested in, researching artists, planning pieces, perfecting the skills that will need to be applied, and presenting final pieces. At the start of each lesson, however, there will be an exercise in a craft contrasting from the project in order to improve versatility and skillset. There are no methods of creativity off the table whether it be digital art or large sculptures. I believe that every student has the potential to create masterpieces, once they learn how to embrace their own unique creativity, and I hope that with my knowledge and experience, I can guide them.

Ellis is a rare young talent that has produced already amazing art. She won many reward and 1st prices. She was the pride of her schools and one piece of her art hang in the office of the headmaster for a long time. Some of her art have been sold already. She has been accepted by a top art university to pursue her talents and endeavours.
Ellis tutored my daughter Ella (16) and helped her prepare for her art gcse. She was always helpful , knowledgable and gave her good advice. She was good at setting Ella tasks and getting her to explore different mediums . It gave Ella a lot of self belief and her technical skill has really improved .
