About Zandile
I'm currently a BCom Financial Science student at the University of Pretoria, and I’m passionate about the world of finance and mathematics. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for how financial concepts and mathematical principles can be applied to solve real-world problems. This has inspired me to not only excel in my studies but also share my knowledge with others as a tutor. I’m a patient and dedicated individual who thrives on helping others succeed. My tutoring approach focuses on simplifying complex topics by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable parts, using practical examples, and encouraging active participation. I believe that everyone has the potential to grasp difficult concepts with the right guidance, and I take pride in being that guide for my students. In addition to my academic focus, I am fluent in English and other languages, which allows me to connect with a wider range of students. Whether it’s assisting high school learners preparing for exams or primary school learners, I’m committed to helping my students improve their understanding, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. Outside of my studies, I enjoy engaging with financial news and trends, which allows me to keep my perspective fresh and current. As a BCom Financial Science student, I use a teaching approach that simplifies challenging mathematical concepts by connecting them to real-life scenarios. My goal is not just to help students memorize formulas but to enable them to grasp the core principles behind the math. In each lesson, I break topics into manageable pieces, provide relatable examples, and encourage student engagement through interactive problem-solving. This method helps students develop critical thinking and improve retention. I am fluent in English and other languages so I can teach in either language, depending on the student’s preference. A typical lesson includes a recap of prior material, a deep dive into new content, and hands-on practice to reinforce what’s been learned. Students can expect a welcoming and patient atmosphere where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My lessons cater to primary and high school learners, particularly those studying mathematics in finance or similar areas. I aim to boost students' confidence in math and assist them in achieving their academic goals, whether that means preparing for exams or simply improving their understanding.
