About Shaz
Having been through the challenges of GCSE and A-level maths myself, I understand how important it is to have the right support system in place. That's why I strive to provide affordable, high-quality tutoring that helps students feel confident in their abilities. I believe that every student learns differently, and my goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where they can ask questions freely and truly understand the subject. My approach is student-focused, meaning I tailor each lesson to what you need help with—whether that's breaking down tricky concepts, working through past papers, or building a solid foundation in maths. Beyond just lessons, I want to be a reliable support system for my students. If you ever have questions or need guidance outside of our sessions, I’m always happy to help. With my own experience of achieving top grades (A* in A-level Maths and 9s in GCSE Maths and Further Maths), I know what it takes to succeed—and I’m here to help you do the same. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your full potential in maths!

My lessons are mainly student-led as I believe that all tutors should be there to support the student on what they need help with, as opposed to teaching new material. I will offer support for students and the lessons will be very interactive involving a lot of examples and questions. My lessons will be an hour long. I have helped students previously attain the grades they want at GCSE. I have also helped primary school students in their maths and can also help students with 11+. I attained an A* in A-level maths and 9s in GCSE maths and further maths.
