About Mya
I am a communications-based tutor with experience in communication studies, writing, reading comprehension, and related academic and professional development skills. Over the years, I have built a strong foundation in both academic communication and applied professional writing, including résumé development, analytical writing, and digital communication strategies.
I am also a member of a business fraternity, where I have developed practical experience in professionalism, teamwork, networking, and career readiness. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of what employers and academic programs expect in professional communication and behavior, which I incorporate into my tutoring approach.
As a tutor, I focus on helping students develop clarity, confidence, and structure in their writing and communication. My goal is not just to improve assignments, but to build long-term communication skills that students can carry into their future careers.

I aim to make concepts easier to understand by breaking them down step-by-step and adapting to each student’s learning style.
