About Jodie

I am currently on a gap year after obtaining A*A*A at A-level in Psychology, Biology and Drama. I really enjoy teaching and currently tutor several GCSE students in Maths, English and Sciences. I used to find mark schemes really difficult to understand, and even if I really understood the content, I still couldn’t access those top grades. I really enjoy baking in my free time and taking my two dogs for walks (I’m sure they would feature in our tutoring sessions as they love getting involved!).

About the lesson

I would initially discuss any concerns that you have about the subject and how you’ve been doing in class. I’d then like to explore your current revision/work methods to see what works for you. I’d create an individual plan with you where we can improve your understanding of the content, the exam technique or a combination of both!

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Jodie.

Perfect! I am really pleased I found Jodie as my A-level psychology tutor - she made a significant impact on my progress and my confidence in psychology, and I felt a lot more confident going into my A-level exam thanks to her tutoring. I highly recommend Jodie to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, supportive, and effective psychology tutor.

Jodie had a good knowledge and understanding of psychology and explained ideas in way that was both understandable and engaging. She had a personalised approach and took time to understand individual my learning style and needs. She was patient and encouraging. She had good availability and was flexible with scheduling sessions. She was always punctual, well-prepared, and organised.
