About Aaron
Hi! I'm Aaron, a dedicated math tutor with a passion to help make learning math a more enjoyable experience. It may come as a surprise to you, but growing up, I struggled a LOT with math, so I understand how difficult or frustrating it can be when math is not explained properly. My goal is to help YOU improve, at whatever pace is right for YOU. I'm very patient and reliable, so don't be afraid to ask for help - that's what I'm for, after all! I also understand the importance of having a good teacher, I had a very supportive algebra teacher in 7th grade, and she helped me develop my love for math. I hope that I can be that same source of support and inspiration for my students - someone that makes math approachable, rewarding, and even fun! I look forward to meeting with you soon!

My lessons are designed to be clear, interactive, and confidence-building. I focus on helping students truly understand math concepts instead of just memorizing formulas, a break from the norm set by traditional public schools.
Each session begins with reviewing key ideas, followed by guided practice and problem-solving strategies. I adapt to each student’s pace and learning style, using examples and visuals to make math engaging and less intimidating. I give out practice problems as I see fit; again, my primary focus is on conceptual understanding, not memorization.
My lessons are ideal for middle school students studying algebra, geometry, or even precalculus! My classes also fit elementary students who want to jump ahead! ;)
I want my classes to be a place where kids don't need to feel pressured in any way - a supportive environment where I tailor YOUR kids specific needs, and not adhering to a strict curriculum. My hope is that through my classes, kids will genuinely enjoy learning math, and that they will begin to see it not as a chore, but as a skill they can master with confidence.
