About Bryan
I am a Middle School Social Studies Teacher with a background in corrections and a bachelor's in criminal justice. It is my passion to help my students develop the ability to think critically as it is the foundation of understanding history and everyday success. In my current job, I am teaching world history but I have a significant amount of knowledge in constitutional law due to my degree and real-life experience which can help with US civics. Besides history and civics, I have a deep love for economics and learning how to invest. In order to invest effectively, one must apply the skills of a historian (critical thinking and analysis) coupled with moral character. It is a challenge but one I love to help my students meet head-on.

My teaching methodology revolves around finding similarities in the past and applying it how it affects our lives today in a manner that is engaging to the student. In addition, my curriculum focuses on developing critical thinking as it is vital not only to the study of history but to living in an age of distraction and misinformation.
