As the 19th Mister North Carolina A&T, I leveraged my background in industrial psychology to create impactful, student-centered tutoring services that enhanced English, reading, and speaking skills. By applying psychological principles of motivation, learning styles, and behavior reinforcement, I tailored tutoring sessions to meet individual student needs, increasing both engagement and retention. I focused on building students' confidence in public speaking and reading comprehension through structured exercises, goal setting, and continuous feedback. My experience in assessing cognitive and communication barriers allowed me to guide students with empathy and precision, helping them improve not only academically, but also in their ability to express themselves clearly and effectively.
