I know that understanding a subject isn't easy. In the past, I have also struggled with school. However, I received a lot of help from my tutors, and over time, I found the perfect study method. Therefore, to give back to my previous tutors, I want to tutor other students and help them find what study method works best for them as well! With hard work and dedication, everyone has the capability to master any subject!

My students typically range from middle school to high school. I believe each student has a different learning style; therefore, I love to learn more about the student and his/her learning style in our first few sessions together. I am also a strong believer in practice makes perfect, so I like to have my student do example questions or recite what they learned to ensure that they truly understand the topic. In our first session, I will use a typical lesson plan and make personalized changes as needed:
TYPICAL LESSON PLAN FOR MATH-HEAVY TOPICS:
1. Read and break down the question
2. Have the student explain their first attempt
3. Give corrections or short lessons as needed
4. Reattempt question
5. Try a similar question to ensure understanding
TYPICAL LESSON PLAN FOR CONCEPT-HEAVY TOPICS:
1. Give a lesson or summary on the topic
2. Answer any question
3. Do problem sets if available or create a diagram/ project that helps understand the concept
4. Have students explain the concepts to ensure understanding
