About Min Thant Kyi Thar
I am an Aerospace Engineering student with a strong interest in education and helping students gain confidence in their studies.
I tutor IELTS and IGCSE History using a structured but approachable teaching style. Having achieved an overall IELTS Academic Band 8.0 and an IGCSE History Grade 7 (A), I understand both exam techniques and the challenges students face while preparing.
My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students understand concepts clearly and feel more confident during exams. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and focus on building strong fundamentals, effective revision habits and practical exam strategies.

For IELTS, I teach strategies for Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening based on question types, time management and improving confidence. I also help students with vocabulary, fluency and how to achieve higher band scores through practice and feedback.
For History, I focus on understanding events, building arguments and answering exam questions effectively rather than memorising content. I teach essay structure, source analysis and revision techniques for IGCSE level.
Typical lesson duration: 1–1.5 hours depending on student preference.
