About Alexander
Passionate about Physics and Mathematics education, with a wealth of experience in both within academia and the state education sector.
I've spent my time working with students that struggle with the conventional classroom learning we get at school. I'm willing to try new things, to learn with the student what works best for them and their particular learning style.
Every student is different and so their education should reflect that!
Holds an enhanced DBS check.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading, chess and hanging out with my friends.

Alex is an excellent, knowledgable and well-prepared tutor who has helped me greatly.
Alex is a fellow Master’s student in high energy physics who I met during a physics research internship at CERN and have stayed in close touch with since. We have worked together on several Masters level physics courses which require an advanced and comprehensive understanding of maths. Alex has been a massive help to me (being someone who is more practically minded) in understanding theoretical and mathematically challenging concepts. He is patient and determined when explaining difficult problems which I believe are important qualities for a maths tutor in particular!
Alex has always been passionate about science, especially maths and physics. His enthusiasm is infectious and he has a real talent for turning complex information into accessible and interesting facts.
Alex is an enthusiastic and committed tutor who explains things easily and concisely, and helps to encourage learners. Would recommend!
Alexander is organized and conscientious. He has a clear passion for his subject and is able to explain complex concepts and ideas clearly and in an engaging way. He is responsive to the specific learning needs of his students. Further, he is reflective and critical, always seeking to develop his practice.
Alex is very patient and kind, making him an excellent teacher. He is great at explaining challenging concepts in simple ways and cares a lot about his students’ success. If he’s your teacher you’re in good hands!
