About Kara

My name is Kara Patterson. I am 28 years old and have been working in education since 2021. First, I worked as a co-teacher and now I am a substitute for schools all over San Antonio, Texas. I genuinely love when I can have a positive impact in a student's learning process. It is rewarding to see them grasp the information and apply it effectively.

About the lesson

In my tutoring sessions, I like to make sure that my students are not only grasping the steps to solve their work but, that they understand the math vocabulary and how to apply this knowledge when finding the solution or expression.
I understand that all students have different learning styles and I will adapt to what works best for them.
