About Whitney
I’m a passionate Psychology undergraduate student who has always been fascinated by how the mind works, especially when it comes to mental health. I am now gaining practical experience through my professional placement in the field. I want to teach because I genuinely believe that education should be engaging and empowering. As someone with ADHD I understand how challenging studying can be, so my approach is to break down complex concepts and make them more approachable and interesting. My goal is to help students not only understand the material but also feel confident in applying it, which is key to success at A-Level. I’m professional, reliable, and committed to your success. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic or just want to boost your grade, I’m here to guide you and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. I truly want to see you succeed! My Tutoring Approach: Let’s make learning fun and practical! Instead of just memorising facts, I focus on real-world applications to help you see how everything fits together. I’m a Psychology undergrad on track to graduate with a high 2:1, and I’ve achieved an A* in both Psychology and Sociology, and an A in Gov and Pol A-Levels. With a year of professional experience under my belt, I’m passionate about mental health and all things academic! I tutor A-Level students in Psychology, Sociology, and Government & Politics, aiming to make learning something you’ll actually enjoy while boosting your grades. Whether you need help understanding tricky topics or just want to feel more confident, I’ve got you covered!
