About Sona
My name is Sona. I currently study law at the University of Cambridge and have just completed my first year. I have always had an enthusiasm for teaching, helping students my age and younger through my school years. I have achieved high grades in all of my qualifications thus far and am able to pass on knowledge and experience having sat exams in person last year.

Teaching the skills essential in succeeding in English at GCSE and A level by analysing key texts in a detailed and thoughtful manner. Many lessons will focus on effectively and persuasively structuring an argument to boost the grade of any piece of analysis. I will be drawing on my experience with writing essays not only in my 3 essay based A levels, but also my year at Cambridge where I have been writing high level pieces for my Law undergraduate.
I have experience tutoring my younger cousin in her English GCSE, which she will be taking next summer, currently being on track to secure top grades.
Content based tutoring will depend on the texts studied by the student; I have personally studied Hamlet, Macbeth, Rossetti, An Inspector Calls, Power and Conflict poetry, Christmas Carol, Sense and Sensibility, Jane Eyre, and The Duchess of Malfi. I would be able to read new texts and aid in wider analysis if needed.
Able to implement my skills in teaching any 'unseen' portion of any paper - poetry and text based.
