About Mayci
I am in my third year at BYU as a Violin Performance Major. I have been playing violin for nearly 14 years and viola for about 8 years. I have worked with great violinists like Monte Belknap, Dr. LeeAnn Morgan, and Alex Woods. I was an instrumental music semi-finalist in the Sterling Scholar program and won a concerto competition at Lutheran Summer Music in Indiana at just 16. I recently played as concertmaster in a production of Les Misérables and loved it! I have experience in classical, contemporary, and fiddle genres. I love music and hope to be able to show you how to love music too!

When teaching violin and viola, I believe in focusing on what YOU want out of violin/viola! I am comfortable teaching anyone from beginners to players prepping for college auditions. As someone currently in college as a Violin Performance Major, I know the level of commitment it takes to succeed in this field and will show you the same level of commitment!
