About Melody
Hi! My name is Melody, and I’m an international student from Hong Kong, currently studying Biotechnology at the University of Edinburgh. I’ve been studying in the UK since Year 10, where I graduated from the top independent school. With a strong academic background, including A* grades in Mathematics and Chemistry, and A grades in Physics and Biology at A-level, I’m passionate about helping students achieve their best. As a tutor, I tailor my lessons to each student’s learning style and pace, ensuring a supportive and comfortable environment. I’m very approachable and friendly, making it easy for students to ask questions and feel confident in their learning journey. Outside of academics, I love music—both playing the piano and singing—and I believe that creativity and discipline from music can enhance focus and learning in other areas. I’m here to help you succeed while making learning enjoyable!

I offer personalized 1-to-1 tutoring tailored to each student's learning speed and level. Lessons are 1 to 2 hours in length, depending on the student’s needs. I graduated from the top independent school in the UK and am currently a second-year Biotechnology student at the University of Edinburgh. I have achieved A* grades in Mathematics and Chemistry, and A grades in Physics and Biology at A-level. In my GCSEs, I earned top scores, including 9s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chinese, as well as an 8 in Chemistry. I provide focused tutoring for both GCSE and A-level students, helping them excel in their subjects.
