Hello! I'm Jerry, a high school senior with straight A's in the highly challenging International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). With extensive experience teaching both online and in-person, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of academic excellence to my tutoring sessions.

Why Choose Jerry?

Academic Excellence: As a top-performing student in the rigorous IBDP, I have mastered a range of subjects and developed effective study strategies that I’m eager to share. This program's demands have equipped me with deep content knowledge and the ability to tackle complex problems efficiently.

Teaching Experience: I have successfully tutored middle and high school students in math and science, both online and in-person. This experience has honed my ability to connect with students, understand their unique learning needs, and adapt my teaching methods accordingly.

Personalized and Engaging Lessons: My tutoring approach is centered around creating personalized lesson plans that make learning engaging and effective. I use a variety of techniques, including visual aids, interactive exercises, and real-world examples, to ensure concepts are understood and retained.

Friendly and Supportive Environment: I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their difficulties. My goal is to build their confidence and make learning a rewarding experience.

Professionalism and Dedication: I am committed to my students' success and take pride in my professionalism. I consistently provide constructive feedback, maintain clear communication, and am dedicated to helping each student achieve their academic goals.

New Concept Introduction (15 minutes): Introduce the new topic using clear explanations and visual aids.
Guided Practice (20 minutes): Work through several example problems or scenarios together, gradually increasing difficulty.
Independent Practice (15 minutes): Allow the student to solve problems independently, offering assistance as needed.
Review and Q&A (10 minutes): Summarize the key points of the lesson and answer any remaining questions.
Homework Assignment (5 minutes): Provide relevant homework to reinforce the day’s learning.
What Sets Me Apart:

-Personalized Attention: I tailor my lessons to fit the individual needs and learning pace of each student.
Experience and Success: With a background in the rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and a track record of straight A’s, I bring both knowledge and proven study strategies.
-Student-Friendly Approach: I foster a supportive and encouraging environment, making learning enjoyable and stress-free.
