As a current student I feel that it is useful in a tutoring environment to understand that I have experienced difficulty with learning as well. Not everything comes easy to everyone, so it is okay if you don’t understand everything first try. Sometimes you just need an extra push.

I am very understanding and patient, as someone who used to not enjoy school and has personal experience with tutors I want to be able to make others experience with tutoring better than mine was! I will make sure that the student feels welcomed and also understood rather than pressured or forced to learn.
