I am currently studying Education in psychology at University of Birmingham with the end goal of becoming a teacher. I tutored at my secondary school and loved the rewarding nature of it. When teaching I like to approach learning with a student focus, understanding what the student is and isn't confident with and working from there to ensure valuable lesson time. I often make use of mind maps and encourage students to engage with the type of learner they are. Lessons often last between 30 minutes to an hour, and I have GCSE and A level qualifications in English literature. My lessons are for primary school aged children up to GCSE level students.
