About Shakeena

I’m a Year 3 Biomedical Science student at Republic Polytechnic, with a strong passion for learning, teaching, and all things lab-related. My favorite area is Diagnostic Pathology—I find it fascinating how we can detect and understand diseases through lab techniques and analysis. Over the past few years, I’ve developed a solid understanding of subjects like immunology, microbiology, anatomy & physiology, and diagnostic methods like Western blot, ELISA, and hemagglutination. I genuinely enjoy helping others make sense of these topics, whether it’s through tutoring, revision sessions, or just breaking down complex concepts. I’m approachable, patient, and love creating a fun but focused learning environment. Let’s work together and make studying a bit less stressful and a lot more enjoyable!

About the lesson

My lessons are student-friendly, interactive, and tailored to your pace. I focus on simplifying complex concepts using examples, visual aids, and past paper questions. Whether you’re preparing for exams, need help understanding lab techniques, or want to revise key concepts, I’ll guide you step-by-step. I also share study tips and resources that have helped me in my journey through the Diploma in Biomedical Science at RP. Lessons can be 1-to-1 or in small groups—online or in-person (depending on location).
