About John

I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics, as well as a separate Master's degree in Mathematics Education, all from Boston University. I have experience teaching Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Differential Equations, and technical electives like Mathematics for Social Justice, Acoustics, and Sound Design. I've taught a diverse population of students over my career, working everywhere from alternative schools to boarding and international schools abroad to universities, and I have a decade of experience working with students from all walks of life.

About the lesson

I'm a skilled technical professional with a decade of teaching experience at the middle school, high school, and university levels. I love approaching a range of topics from different vantage points, and meeting learners of all ages where they are in their math and science journey. If you're just getting started in a course or class, stuck on a specific concept, or looking to level your skills up for a big test or exam, I'm excited to help you out!
