About Rachel
I believe that every child is capable of achieving success when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities. My role as a teacher is not only to deliver the curriculum, but to nurture curiosity, creativity, and resilience, ensuring that children develop a love of learning that lasts beyond the classroom. I am committed to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment where all pupils feel safe, valued, and motivated to take risks in their learning. Through differentiated instruction, engaging lessons, and the use of programs such as Read Write Inc., I aim to meet the diverse needs of learners and help each child progress at their own pace. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community is central to my practice, as I believe education is most effective when it is a shared journey. Ultimately, my goal is to inspire confident, independent learners who are not only academically prepared, but also socially and emotionally equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world.
