About Gabrielle
Hello! I’m Gabrielle, an enthusiastic and dedicated elementary educator currently teaching at a charter school while pursuing my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and working toward teacher certification in grades K–6. I specialize in English Language Arts, math, and social studies, and I’m passionate about helping young learners reach their highest potential through engaging, personalized instruction. My approach to teaching is rooted in the belief that every child can succeed with the right support and encouragement. I create lessons that are interactive, student-centered, and connected to real-world experiences, allowing learners to see the value and purpose behind what they study. My classroom experience has given me the tools to identify each student’s strengths, address learning gaps, and celebrate progress along the way. Hello! I’m Gabrielle, an elementary educator currently teaching at a charter school while pursuing my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and working toward teacher certification in grades K–6. I specialize in ELA, math, and social studies for elementary students and focus on helping learners grow in both confidence and academic skills.
My teaching method is built around engagement, differentiation, and real-world connections. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive and meaningful. I use hands-on activities, visuals, games, and discussion-based learning to make every session enjoyable and impactful.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review or warm-up, followed by guided instruction where I model strategies step by step. Students then have time to practice independently with my support and end the session by reflecting on what they learned. Each lesson is designed to meet individual learning needs—whether reinforcing foundational skills or extending learning for enrichment.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my experience teaching in the classroom and my ability to connect curriculum goals with creative, engaging instruction. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and celebrate their progress.
