About Kashvi
I'm a diligent undergraduate student having a desire to teach students who are struggling as well as share passion and love for the subjects I teach. Throughout my GCSEs I struggled with managing the workload and time however once I received the help I needed I ended up achieving all A*s! I'm keen to help young people on the path to success and boosting their confidence :)!

I aim to tutor for GCSE Science and Maths. Through my past year of experience as a tutor, I have gained the skills to help children succeed in topics and improve their understanding for the subject. My lessons initially start with a start activity consisting of the subject we have learnt the previous lesson and getting students to use the technique of active recall. I spent the next part of my lesson engaging with the student if they are struggling on previous material by examining their homework or focusing on a new topic advancing from the previous week. Depending on their pace, I work through the key points of the subject and take the specification in regard so they are following the syllabus and helping them keep in track. I ensure they are understanding the material and try my best to break up the topic so it's easier to understand. I focus on making sure the student understands the topic rather than memorising it so they have a better chance of succeeding. Near to the end of the lesson, I work through example exam-style questions to help the student comprehend the technique and set these type of questions for homework. My lessons last for 1 hour.
