About Leah
Hello, I'm Leah. I am a current Diploma in Veterinary Nursing student hoping to share my expert knowledge! I am an A+ grade student who received the Top Student Award in the School of Vet Nursing. I have the Certificate in Vet Nursing, NCEA Level 3 with Merit Endorsement, and am an Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL). I am currently studying my Diploma in Vet Nursing. I have 5+ years experience in tutoring (animal care, vet nursing, English, literacy and reading/writing). I would love to support and help you along your learning journey by encouraging you and inspiring confidence through education because tutoring is powerful! I am all about building confidence and improving your knowledge about animals! I tutor in an encouraging way where no question is a bad question. I use positive reinforcement and student-centered tutoring techniques. I like to know your background knowledge so I can teach you what you need to know. Bring any questions, assessments, topic-related queries you wish to learn more about and I will tailor the lesson to what you wish to learn. The lesson length will be 1 hour. I have tutored for 5 years now (in literacy, English, writing and Vet Nursing) and have covered ages 5 to 50+. These lessons are for anyone from school-aged learners (age 5-18) and students studying Animal Care or Vet Nursing at Polytechnic/university (Level 1 - Level 6). I can also teach academic writing techniques (including referencing) for those who may be studying at polytechnic/university as I have been praised for my ability to write academic literature to an excellent standard.
