About Nora
I am Nora Bennett, a professional singing tutor with over 7 years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and have worked extensively with K-12 and college students to help them achieve their vocal goals! My passion for teaching stems from my love of music, and I aim to share that passion with every student I work with.
My teaching style is supportive and focused on individual needs, ensuring that every student receives personalized guidance and attention. I have helped students prepare for school performances, choir auditions, and even local musical theater productions, and I pride myself on seeing my students gain the confidence they need to succeed both on stage and in the classroom.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with students who went on to major in music at college or pursue careers in the arts. I am dedicated to helping students not only develop their technical vocal skills but also their artistic expression. My ultimate goal is to make each lesson an opportunity for growth, creativity, and musical discovery.

I believe that everyone has a unique voice, and my goal as a tutor is to help you find and develop yours! In my online one-to-one singing lessons, I work with K-12, high school, and college beginners to build a solid foundation in vocal techniques. We start by focusing on breathing exercises, posture, and pitch control to ensure that you are singing in a healthy and sustainable way. I incorporate a combination of classical vocal training and modern techniques, allowing students to express themselves through various styles of music.
Once we’ve developed a strong technical base, I will guide you through interpretation and musical expression. I believe that singing is not just about hitting the right notes, but about connecting with the music emotionally. Whether you want to sing classical, pop, jazz, or musical theater, I customize each lesson to suit your musical tastes and goals!
In addition to improving vocal technique, I focus on building stage presence and performance skills. I know that many students want to prepare for auditions or performances, and I will help you gain the confidence you need to perform in front of others. We’ll also explore songwriting and music theory to help you understand the structure of music and improve your ability to compose or interpret songs effectively.
Every student learns at their own pace, and I believe in a patient, encouraging, and fun approach to teaching. Whether you're preparing for a school performance, audition, or just want to improve your singing, my lessons are designed to keep you motivated and excited about your progress!
