About Drew
I am a jazz guitarist and composer. I have a doctorate in jazz performance and two other degrees in classical composition. I have been teaching for almost twenty years and can help you with your playing, music theory, jazz history, notation, or preparing for music school auditions.

My teaching approach is unique to each student. Depending on your strengths and weaknesses, I can recommend appropriate texts, exercises, and areas of focus to achieve the best results for you. Most importantly, I want to make sure you're having fun. Lessons should be something you look forward to!
Children should be at least 11 years old. Lessons are normally 1 hour, but I can accommodate 1/2 hour lessons as well (just get in touch).
