About Taylor
I have a BA from McGill University, where I majored in political science and minored in English and history. I received my MPhil from Memorial University, studying institutional decision-making and bridging the fields of business, political science, and education. I am currently undertaking my PhD in the Faculty of Education at Memorial, with a focus on democratic education. I have also worked for Memorial University doing public engagement and spent more than a decade in competitive debate.

I do my best to work from where my student's knowledge base is. I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs and try to incorporate fun games and exercises as a way to practice new ideas in a low-risk environment. I am happy to teach anyone from middle school to post-secondary and graduate education.
