About Jasmine
My name is Jasmine Diaz. I'm a born and raised new Yorker. I started nannying when i was 19 years old and continued doing so for 12 years. I loved working with families and helping them inside of the home. My love for helping grew into a new love for teaching. This lead me to opening up my own art studio and hosting art classes every Friday for the children in my neighborhood. I did my art classes for about 5 years until covid19 happened. That's when we had to shut down classes. I then choose to start working with the Department of Education as a Paraprofessional/Teaching Assistant. I have been with the DOE for one year.

I love teaching. So much that I made a business out of it. I was babysitting for many years and always found myself crafting with the children. This lead me to open up my own art studio and teach the children in my neighborhood. I think I was successful because of my patient teaching techniques. And i love to make my style of teaching fun! I always love ending my lessons with a yummy treat!
