About Sam
I'm looking for dedicated individuals who are ready to make a commitment to learning the guitar or ukulele. You don't need to make it your whole life or even more than a hobby, but with a few quality practice sessions each week and some expert guidance from me, we'll have you strumming your favorite songs and maybe even writing your own tunes.
As for me, I've been playing guitar for over 20 years, performing for more than a decade. I have an honours degree in popular music from the University of Adelaide, and for the last 7 years I've enjoyed sharing my knowledge with new budding musicians.
I'm a singer/songwriter type of guitarist, so if your dream involves singing while you strum a tune, or getting the songs in your head out into the world, then I'm your guy.
If you want to learn the skills and techniques that will make you a versatile musician, capable of playing a range of different styles, then I'm also your guy.
If you want to learn crazy fast face melting shredder metal guitar solos, then I'm probably not your guy, that just ain't my jam (totally cool if its yours, and I'm certain that you'll be able to find another guitar teacher that specialises in that stuff)

I have a dual camera set up that lets me give detailed close ups of my guitar and fingering positions so that you can see exactly what's happening.. I also use a platform that allows you to download recordings of your lessons so that you can review them throughout the week. . My personalized approach ensures each session is productive and tailored to your needs.
