About Valencia
I’m a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education and 25 academic distinctions, but more importantly, I’m someone who truly understands what it feels like to need the right kind of support to succeed. I’m passionate about teaching because I’ve seen how the right explanation, encouragement, and structure can completely change a learner’s confidence and performance. I don’t believe intelligence is fixed — I believe it’s developed through guidance, practice, and belief. Teaching allows me to help learners move from feeling stuck or discouraged to feeling capable and confident. Watching that shift — when something finally clicks — is exactly why I do what I do. For me, teaching isn’t just about covering content. It’s about helping learners clock their own progress, realize their potential, and believe in their ability to succeed.

My Mathematics lessons are clear, structured, and confidence-building. I focus on helping learners truly understand why things work, not just memorise steps.

I identify gaps early and rebuild foundations where needed

Learners are taught how to think, not just calculate
Regular practice is used to strengthen accuracy and speed
Many learners struggle with Maths because they feel rushed or left behind. My approach is calm and patient, creating a safe space where questions are encouraged and mistakes are part of learning.
The goal of my Maths lessons is simple: clarity, confidence, and measurable progress — so learners stop fearing Maths and start clocking real improvement.
