I am a post-graduate who has just finished their Masters degree. I would describe myself as a confident, relaxed, and motivated individual. I possess strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills which have been demonstrated throughout my university degree. I have a proven academic record, reflecting my dedication to learning and my ability to grasp complex concepts. As a tutor, I am passionate about helping others achieve their academic goals and reach their full potential, and I have faith in my ability to do so.

My approach to tutoring is centred around personalised, student-focused learning that caters to each individual's unique needs, strengths, and learning styles.
- I will assess each student's current understanding, learning style, and goals, following this, I will create a customised learning plan that targets their specific goals. This plan will be adjusted as I better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the pupil.
- Lessons are designed to be interactive, nothing is ever learned by being spoken at! Pupils are encouraged to engage and participate in the learning content. This will be facilitated by creating a supportive and positive environment where pupils are encouraged to challenge themselves, otherwise there is no need for me to be there!
- I will strive to encourage conceptual understanding of the topics over rote memorisation. I want to build long-lasting confidence and comprehension of the topic.
- The end of every session will contain a feedback period, where I let the pupil know which areas they excelled in and which areas we still need to work on, I will also encourage the student to do the same for me :)
- Sessions will typically last between 1-2 hours.
- I have experience tutoring children of all ages, I have helped two of my sisters achieve A* grades in both GCSE and A-Level psychology, and I have previously tutored younger children from 10-12 in various subjects not limited to English, Maths, Geography and Biology.
