Hi! I'm Max, an honour graduate from an Italian Classical Lyceum and an undergraduate studying Classics at Durham University. I offer tailored tutoring services that cater to your unique learning style and goals. Together, we'll embark on a transformative journey through the intricacies of Latin or Greek grammar, syntax, and literature. My approach to teaching is practical,hands on and no nonsense.
In my three years of tutoring experience I have found that a consistent, practical and interactive approach to teaching is the best way of helping students reach their goals.
The first lessons will be focused on getting to know the student and their specific needs. We will then either work through homework to find areas where further consolidation is needed.
Learning is suppoded to be engaging ! So I will always listen to student feedback and encourage participation.
A typical Latin lesson for example would last 55 minutes and consist in reading, translating and talking about a passage in the original language. The lesson would then move on to analysing the relevant grammar and questions the students may have.
If there are any interests that you may have,I'm always more thatn happy to explore them in our lessons!
