About Georgie
I recently graduated from Durham University where I read Geography BA, achieving First Class Honours. Prior to that I studied at Falmouth University, where I did a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design.
I have tutored GCSE Geography, Mathematics and Biology and have assisted A-Level students with Geography, university applications and personal statements. I am currently tutoring several GCSE Geography students, and I have been a homeschool teacher to a GCSE pupil this year, teaching the entire syllabus from scratch alongside exam preparation. All of these students have ranging goals for achievement, so I have plenty of experience finding ways of working with students of different levels.
I am also currently helping to home-school and look after an 8-year-old German boy who has ADHD. I am helping him mostly with Mathematics and English language, as well as subtly including teaching about Geography and Biology through less classroom-based teaching methods such as games and play.

I aim to make the experience of tutoring as positive and enjoyable as possible by tailoring my teaching sessions to each person's individual needs. I am a hardworking, friendly and reliable tutor and I believe I can help any student make progress and achieve their goals in their study. Whilst covering the required course content, I ensure students also work through practice papers and complete exam questions. I improve exam techniques by ensuring students understand how their work will be assessed, and through providing useful revision tips and methods.
