About Cleo
For the past 9 years, I have been dedicated to teaching piano to nearly 300 students across various age groups. I work with high school learners, college students, and adults who seek structured and professional instruction.
My teaching philosophy emphasises discipline, patience, and clear communication. I focus on developing strong technical skills such as scales, arpeggios, rhythm accuracy, and sight-reading. I also encourage students to connect emotionally with their music and develop expressive performance skills.
I design goal-oriented lesson plans and monitor progress carefully. I teach students how to practice efficiently and build consistent habits. Many of my students have excelled in examinations and performed confidently in recitals and concerts.
Teaching piano is about more than learning notes; it is about building resilience, focus, and confidence. My aim is to guide students towards both musical excellence and personal growth.

My piano lessons are built on communication, creativity, flexibility, and continuous improvement. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated.
I break down complex pieces into small, manageable sections to reduce stress and improve focus. Communication helps students understand musical elements such as dynamics, articulation, and phrasing.
Creativity is encouraged through simple composition tasks and expressive interpretation. Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to match each student’s learning style and speed. I also include sight reading practice, chord progressions, and ear training to strengthen overall musical skills.
My mission is to guide students towards becoming confident and independent pianists.
