About Kate
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 8 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I am passionate about helping learners develop strong English skills through personalised and effective teaching methods.
I design customised lesson plans based on each student’s learning level and goals. My lessons focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. I emphasise real-life usage and academic communication.

My teaching approach for ESL is student-focused, practical, and interactive. I design lessons that are motivating, clear, and tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning pace.
Motivation is emphasised in every class. I provide positive feedback, achievable goals, and consistent progress tracking to help students stay confident. Communication is practised through speaking, listening, reading, and real-life conversation exercises.
Creativity makes lessons enjoyable and effective. I use role plays, storytelling, visuals, and practical exercises to help students understand and retain English skills. Time management ensures lessons are structured, balanced, and productive.
Besides ESL, I also teach spoken English, grammar fundamentals, vocabulary enhancement, pronunciation, professional communication, email writing, and presentation skills. My aim is to help students communicate confidently in all situations.
