About Ishara
With over 24 years as a dedicated English educator, including 12 years of successful provincial leadership in South Africa where I elevated student literacy outcomes and exam results, I inspire confidence in Year 7-12 students through proven, engaging tutoring that transforms reading, writing, and analysis skills. My professional approach, backed by inclusive education qualifications, ensures personalized, results-driven sessions aligned with Australian curriculum standards. Lessons open with a focused warm-up to spark engagement, followed by explicit modeling of key techniques like literary analysis or persuasive structures. Guided practice and collaborative feedback build skills, ending with reflections to reinforce learning—all within a positive, inclusive framework from Positive Solutions training [user-information].
