About Vikram
I am an experienced Flute teacher with more than 8 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals who wish to learn flute in a disciplined and supportive environment.
My tutoring method focuses on strong musical fundamentals. I train students in breathing techniques, finger coordination, tone quality, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. Lessons are planned to ensure steady and confident progress.
I place high importance on communication and consistent practice. I explain techniques clearly and provide guidance throughout the learning process. Accountability is maintained through progress reviews and honest feedback. Integrity guides my teaching style.
In addition to flute training, I also teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, and performance preparation. I assist students with exams, auditions, and recitals.
My unique skill is motivating students to stay consistent and focused. I create a positive learning atmosphere that supports long-term musical growth.

My flute teaching methodology emphasises Communication, Creativity, and Flexibility, offering students a structured yet inspiring learning experience. I start by understanding each student’s skill level, goals, and learning style.
Communication is key—I teach techniques such as posture, breath control, fingering, articulation, phrasing, and sight-reading in a clear and practical manner. I encourage questions, active participation, and reflection, helping students develop confidence and motivation throughout their learning journey.
Creativity is central to my lessons. I encourage students to explore improvisation, develop unique interpretations of pieces, and experiment with musical expression. Composition and self-expression exercises help students cultivate originality and a personal artistic voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, interests, and areas of challenge, creating a fully personalised and engaging experience.
Alongside flute instruction, I include music theory, rhythm exercises, sight-reading, and ear training to develop complete musicianship. My methodology ensures students develop technical mastery, expressive skills, and confidence, while fostering a lifelong love for music and a meaningful connection to their instrument.
