About RAKSHA
I have always been a fan of education, I like challenges and I am a strong believer of the fact that practice makes perfect. I taught as a tutor in 2019, before going into another job, but I have always intended to go back to it. I studied abroad in Spain for the past year and this helped me to expand my knowledge of both politics and economics. I discovered different points of view from the ones I was taught in the UK and I really enjoyed it. I was born in Italy and I lived there for sixteen years. One of my greatest strengths when it comes to studying is that, having experienced three different types of education, I was able to combine their strengths to achieve an incredibly strong revision method.

Hello! Glad to see you are in my profile. I am a Politics and International Relations student. I greatly focus on Economics which is an essential part of my degree, a continuation of my A Level studies in which I achieved an A. I only moved to the UK in 2016 so I had to teach myself English but with commitment and sacrifice I managed to achieve mostly As in my GCSEs which I took only a year later. Studying that much content forced me to find ways to work smarter, not harder. I therefore mastered my exam skills. I really learned how to break down questions and what areas to focus on more to achieve the best possible results in my exams. I then perfected these techniques during my A levels. I was lucky enough to have an extremely passionate Economics teacher in my Sixth Form, who taught us how to reason like an economist rather than teaching us theories and formulae. My hope is to pass this knowledge to the students who will choose me as a tutor. I also have experience in tutoring, mainly teaching to year 9s. To make sure they were getting resources tailored to their strengths and weaknesses I would make my own materials and exercises.
