About Nalini
I hold a B.A in Economics and an M.Sc in Development Economics, which allowed me to study economic systems from both theoretical and real-world perspectives. Over the past 10 years, I have taught students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them move from surface-level memorization to meaningful understanding of economic behavior and policy. My teaching journey has shaped my belief that economics should feel relevant and empowering. I focus on listening carefully to students’ questions and adjusting explanations to match their level of understanding. I take pride in creating a calm and respectful learning environment where learners feel comfortable expressing confusion and curiosity alike. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with economics by following global economic trends, policy discussions, and development research. Teaching economics is deeply fulfilling to me because I witness students gain confidence in interpreting complex economic issues and develop the ability to think critically about the world around them.

Economics becomes meaningful when students understand how theories explain real human behavior, markets, and policy decisions. My lessons focus on clarifying microeconomics, macroeconomics, supply and demand, elasticity, market structures, and economic indicators through real-world examples. I help learners connect abstract models to everyday economic situations, making the subject more relatable and easier to understand.
Beginners are guided through foundational concepts using simple explanations and visual reasoning. Intermediate learners explore national income, fiscal and monetary policy, inflation, and market efficiency with deeper analytical discussion. Advanced learners focus on evaluation techniques, policy interpretation, data analysis, and exam-oriented economic writing. Lessons are paced carefully to support understanding and long-term retention.
Studying economics develops analytical thinking, informed decision-making, and awareness of global systems. As learners gain clarity, they become more confident in interpreting economic news and forming logical arguments. My goal is to help students feel empowered by economic understanding rather than overwhelmed by theory.
