About Jimmy
I am an Economics-Mathematics student at Columbia University with a strong academic record and a commitment to helping others succeed. I believe that effective tutoring goes beyond simply providing answers; it involves building a genuine understanding of the material and developing confidence in one's abilities. I approach every student with patience, professionalism, and a willingness to adapt my teaching methods to their individual learning style. I like to break lessons down into simple but intuitive steps that make the topic easier to understand. As a math tutor, I teach from middle school to high school math which includes but is not limited to basic algebra, geometry, arithmetic; as well as pre-calculus, Calculus 1, and Calculus 3.
