About Evie
My passion for Economics developed from an early interest in how societies function and how decisions—big and small—shape outcomes. Over the years, this interest led me to complete an M.A. in Economic Analysis and accumulate nine years of teaching experience. I love making complex concepts feel approachable and guiding learners toward moments of understanding that spark curiosity and confidence. My teaching style is warm, structured, and focused on helping each student feel capable, supported, and motivated. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners preparing for school exams, university-level studies, and competitive assessments. I enjoy breaking down complicated graphs, theories, and models into simple, understandable steps. I focus on creating a calm environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas at their own pace. Seeing students develop stronger reasoning and confidence brings great satisfaction, and I approach every lesson with patience and clarity. Beyond teaching, I enjoy reading economic research, analyzing current events through an economic lens, and finding fresh ways to explain ideas so students can connect theory to real-life situations. I bring these insights into my lessons to keep learning engaging and relevant. Helping students grow both academically and personally is deeply fulfilling, and I strive to make every lesson meaningful, supportive, and empowering.

Economics comes alive when students understand how everyday choices connect to larger systems, and my lessons are designed to help them build this understanding step-by-step. We begin with fundamental ideas such as scarcity, incentives, opportunity cost, and basic decision-making. I guide students through simple examples that connect these concepts to things they encounter in daily life, helping them see that economics is not abstract—it is something they actively participate in. This early stage focuses on comfort, clarity, and curiosity, which builds a strong foundation for deeper thinking. As students grow more confident, we explore microeconomic topics such as elasticity, cost structures, consumer and producer behavior, and different types of markets. I make sure every chart, graph, and calculation is broken down clearly so learners understand how each part of the model interacts with the rest. This stage strengthens analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to interpret data in meaningful ways. Students begin to see patterns, relationships, and causes, which increases their confidence in tackling advanced material. For advanced learners, lessons include macroeconomics, economic cycles, inflation, economic policy, and global trade structures. We practice interpreting real-world data, evaluating policy decisions, and analyzing trends with clear reasoning. This prepares students not only for exams but also for deeper academic and professional goals. Throughout all lessons, my focus remains on helping learners develop understanding, clarity, and a calm, confident approach to economic thinking.
