About Nora
I am a Hungarian student currently doing my Undergraduate degree in MA (SocSci) Business Economics at the University of Glasgow. I graduated the IB Diploma in May 2017 with a total of 43 points. Among other subjects, I achieved 7's in Higher Level Economics and Math, as well as Standard Level Biology.
The challenging nature of the program has allowed me to develop both academically and personally through pursuing my passion in Economics and Business. Rigorous academics made me hard-working and responsible, but most of all an organized and reliable person who plans ahead before completing a task.
I tend to choose interactive ways to spend my free time, because I enjoy working with people. My multinational background makes me value cultural diversity in groups I work with, and further drove me to invest myself in learning languages. I learnt to view issues from multiple perspectives, to become more accepting of my team-mates and work well in collaboration. Throughout my extra-curricular activities, I thrive to be innovative and undertake new challenges, aiming to get out of my comfort zone and continue learning to gain more and more experience.

Throughout the IB Diploma I was tutoring my fellow classmates in our organized study sessions. Given this experience, I would like to establish myself as a reputable IB tutor. I have found that most IB Diploma students struggle to achieve the grades they aim for, because the difficult material is taught to them through the wrong medium, with incorrect methodology. Therefore, I believe that organizing the material and tailoring it to your personal needs is essential to effectively turn your weaknesses into your strengths. I first-hand experienced this through my own studies, and also through teaching other IB Diploma students. Having done the IB just recently gives me direct insight into the course material and exam structure, as well as study methods and techniques I used that a lot of students fail to take advantage of during their studies. I am personally passionate about the subjects I tutor, and this is what makes me fully committed to use my high level of skills and material knowledge to help you excel in the challenging IB Diploma program.
