About Harini
My interest in economics began with curiosity about how markets function and how decisions affect society. This led me to pursue a PhD in Economics, where I developed deep knowledge in both theory and practical applications. Over the past 13 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them understand economics in a simple and structured way.
I believe that economics should be taught with clarity and real-life connection. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex ideas into smaller parts and using examples to explain them clearly. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently, and practice regularly so they can build confidence and improve steadily over time.
Outside teaching, I stay updated with global economic trends and policy changes. This allows me to bring relevant and current examples into my lessons. Teaching economics is very meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence and understanding. Helping them develop analytical skills, connect theory to real life, and become independent thinkers is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

Economics becomes meaningful when students can clearly connect concepts to real-life situations and decisions. In my lessons, I focus on key topics such as demand and supply, elasticity, market structures, national income, inflation, and government policies using simple and structured explanations. I break each concept into smaller, easy-to-understand parts so students can follow without confusion. I also use practical examples like budgeting, pricing strategies, and global economic trends to make lessons more relatable and engaging. Each session is interactive, calm, and supportive, allowing students to ask questions and build their understanding step by step.
As students progress, I adjust lessons based on their level and learning needs. Beginners focus on understanding basic concepts and simple graphs. Intermediate learners work on calculations, diagrams, and relationships between variables. Advanced students focus on case studies, data interpretation, and strong exam writing techniques. I provide regular practice, structured notes, and detailed feedback to ensure steady improvement and strong conceptual clarity over time.
Economics helps students develop analytical thinking, decision-making skills, and awareness of real-world systems. As they improve, they become more confident in understanding financial situations and evaluating different outcomes. These skills are useful in both academic studies and everyday life. My goal is to make economics simple, clear, and practical so students feel confident in applying their knowledge and thinking independently in different situations.
