About Tumi
I am a current undergraduate student, studying Economics. I recently completed my A Levels, Maths, Economics and Psychology. I understand the stress of A Levels, asI have just come out of a similar situation to the students I want to tutor. I chose A Levels as the level to tutor, as I would be very able to relate to the students, in comparison to other age groups. As I have spent the last 2 years studying for my A Levels, I can also provide more than help for specific subjects, but also general revision tips and studying methods to ensure that the students feel they are best prepared for all of their subjects.

I will begin by assessing the students’ capabilities in different topic areas. From this, I will understand how to progress with the tutoring, by improving their weaknesses and developing their strengths, so they can find their personal unique methods of problem solving. My techniques will include teaching, demonstrations and homework to help the student improve.
The typical length of a lesson can range from 45 minutes - 2 hours, dependent on what the student requires and which techniques will be used in the lesson.
My qualifications are A*A*A*, in Mathematics, Economics and Psychology. I have previously tutored family members in Mathematics, of which they have largely benefitted from, by improvements in their grades.
My lessons are directed towards 16-18 year olds, who are studying for their A Level exams.
