About Gabriella
I am an education student and have been working with kids for over five years now. I spent time volunteering to teach supplemental English, reading, and writing to kindergarten students and have taken time to look at curriculum and milestones related to English for elementary students. I am very patient and reassuring while also ensuring that students grow their knowledge and learn in a more direct manner. Working one on one with students allows me to build lessons around them and how they like to learn. I am also able to determine what topics they need more assistance with and build a foundation for further learning.

I hope to work with students on phonics, spelling, reading, and basic grammar concepts. I am best suited to work with elementary students as I have previous experience with that age group. I plan to use visual aids and engaging interactive lessons to help students feel more confident with their English, reading, and writing. A typical lesson will generally include focus on one specific topic as listed above.
