About Fara
I have my bachelor's degree in journalism and history from UNC Chapel Hill. In addition, I have a master's degree in international education. During my master's I taught in two k-12 schools in Spain. I worked with grades 3-12. I led daily lessons in history, english, art, etc. and assisted students with test prep.

My teaching approach is to help students understand the material through practice, examples, and exercises. I explain complicated material in a way that students will understand by relating the subject matter with their interests and experience. I also empower them to care about the material and teach them strategies to master the subject.
