About Promita

Dear students,

Welcome to my tutoring services! I am thrilled to have the opportunity to inspire confidence, establish my legitimacy as an electrical engineer, and reassure you of my professionalism.

As an electrical engineer with a solid academic background and practical experience, I bring both theoretical knowledge and real-world insights to our tutoring sessions. I have successfully completed my degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in PLC programming, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with students like you.

In our tutoring sessions, my primary goal is to instill confidence in your understanding of electrical engineering concepts. I will present complex topics in a clear and accessible manner, breaking them down into manageable components. I believe in engaging discussions, interactive problem-solving exercises, and practical examples to help you grasp difficult concepts and apply them to real-world scenarios.

Please remember that while I am knowledgeable and experienced in the field of electrical engineering, I am not a substitute for your coursework or dedicated study. I am here to supplement your learning and provide guidance, but it is important to actively engage in your own studies and seek additional resources as needed.

My expertise spans various academic levels and specific areas within electrical engineering, so do not hesitate to reach out with your specific needs.

Thank you for considering me as your tutor. Together, we will navigate the exciting world of electrical engineering and unlock your full potential.

Best regards,

Promita Mazumder

As a tutor, my approach is student-centered, focusing on creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. I believe in tailoring my teaching methodology and techniques to suit the individual needs and learning styles of my students. I strive to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and participating actively in the learning process.

Here is an outline of my typical lesson plan:

Introduction: I start by assessing the student's prior knowledge and understanding of the topic. This helps me gauge their existing understanding and identify any knowledge gaps.

Setting learning objectives: I discuss the specific learning goals for the lesson with the student. This ensures that we have a clear focus and direction throughout the session.

Concept explanation: I break down complex concepts into simpler, more understandable parts. I use clear explanations, examples, and visual aids to enhance comprehension.

Practice and application: I provide opportunities for the student to apply what they have learned through practice exercises, problem-solving, and discussions. This helps reinforce their understanding and build confidence in their abilities.

Assessment and feedback: I evaluate the student's progress through formative assessments, such as quizzes or short assignments. I provide constructive feedback to highlight areas of improvement and offer guidance on how to further enhance their skills.

Recap and summary: At the end of the lesson, I summarize the key points covered and encourage the student to ask any remaining questions. I may also suggest additional resources for self-study to deepen their understanding.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to adapt to the unique needs of each student. I understand that different individuals have different learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses. Therefore, I customize my teaching strategies and materials to suit their preferences and maximize their learning outcomes. I also emphasize building a strong rapport with my students, creating a supportive and motivating learning environment.

I am well-equipped to tutor students at various levels, from primary to secondary school.
