About Cynthia
I would like to apply for the Spanish Teacher open position. I have been looking
for an opportunity to join a school where I can teach students and be a
resourceful guide to them on different aspects of Spanish language and culture. I
like to integrate the four different skills in the classroom for each lesson
(Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing) to assist my students.
I have been teaching Spanish for 17 years and have taught from 20- 38 students
in a classroom. I understand the importance of a strict yet fun environment in a
classroom. I am physically and mentally active and comfortable in working with
children from different social backgrounds and different ways of learning.
I have provided references of my previous employments and letters of

I am a Spanish Teacher graduated from UMBC. I love to teach my language to my students.
My philosophy is to constantly seek out new ways to improve instruction and help
students exceed individual goals. As a teacher it is important to build strong relationships
with students, parents and colleges. Also it’s very important to sustain strong relationship
within the school community. In my teaching skills I like to address a wide range of skills
and abilities in my classroom by differentiating my core instruction in order to meet the
needs of all my students. I would have students work independently, in a whole group, in
pairs and in a small group. Therefore, they have a change to not only learn from me but
also from others as well as themselves. I would also encourage my students to ask
questions, participate in discussion as well as group activities. I believe it is important to
provide small group as well as individual instruction in order to truly know the needs of
my students and to better understand them as learners in my classroom.
