About Michelle

I am a mom of twins and understand the importance of the individual child. Growing up in the military, I have had the opportunity to live all over the world and fully embrace life and how we can use our experiences to help others. As a young teen living in upstate New York and Germany, I loved working with young kids and knew I would always have children in my life. I taught through Covid but after teaching kindergarten with half of my students remote and half in class with me, I realized how much my own children were missing me at home. I made the decision to leave teaching to be more present for them but have missed the connections with children.

About the lesson

Patient and compassionate, I will help your child learn to enjoy reading. I understand the challenges, and importance, of extracurricular activities and will help with the balancing of educational needs.I will spend time getting to know you (or your child) and find ways to unite what they enjoy with education.
